Low Income Utility Discount Program
A low income discount is available on water and sewer charges for qualifying customers in Columbus and suburban communities. For those who are eligible, a discount of 20% will apply to water and sewer usage charges. Income require- ments are based on state and federal poverty standards.

Information for Free Services
The Columbus Coalition for the Homeless “Streetcard” is designed to provide homeless persons with information on most needed services for which they may be eligible. The Street Card contains a limited listing of services in Franklin County. To receive information on additional resources, please contact Hands On Central Ohio at 2-1-1 or 614.221.2255.

Tenant Water and Sewer Direct Billing Agreement
You will need to download and complete a Water/Sewer Tenant Direct Billing Agreement for the property owner in order to be directly billed; the property owner will receive a copy of all bills. The City of Columbus Customer Service Center can assist you. The number is 645-8276. Representatives are available to take your call Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Prevention, Retention, and Contingency Program
The Prevention, Retention, and Contingency (PRC) Program is designed to provide benefits and services to low-income families to help with essential supports needed to move out of poverty and become self-sufficient. These supports include limited non-recurring, short-term, crisis-oriented benefits and ongoing services.
